Got back tonight from Chicago where I spent the past 24 hours meeting with Hemant
Hemant an atheist-ex-Jain (google that) by culture and upbringing and and I (a seriously strange old guy follower of Jesus) made our way to the first church to be surveyed - Old St Patricks in downtown Chicago.
Seeing this church experience through Hemants eyes was “eye opening”.
Every pastor should have to do this as part of their ministry training.
Why were they worshiping an altar?
What was that guy eating crackers?
Who was that old guy statue - (St Peter- the first pope :-)
