Tomorrow, Tuesday the 11th, the venerable SIAMANG will be our Guest Blogger here at the Atheist/Christian diablog. Siamang has been part of this conversation since it’s advent. We appreciate the depth, rigorous intellect, and even-handedness of his contributions. If you are new to this site we’re confident you will be challenged, moved and probably humored by the musings and often pithy commentary of SIAMANG.

    Not knowing your age I made sure to look up the word and felt confident of it’s use when I saw the words ‘dignity and character’:
    ven·er·a·ble ( P ) Pronunciation Key (vnr–bl)
    adj.
    Commanding respect by virtue of age, dignity, character, or position.

    I have a flair for the dramatic… you just have to work with me on that. :)

    Congratulations on your birthday. You are now in your 40th year. ;-)

    And kudos, your eminence, on your ascension to the seat of majesty and power, ruling over your domain with dignity, character, and position (even if lacking a tad in power. ;-) ) You are eminently qualified for the post.

    Although many have said it, I’ll be saying,
    “Happy Birthday, Siamang.” right on it :-)
    Siamang, I still remembered my first try on commenting here was a question to you. I asked you what does “atheist” really mean. And you answered it with patient and in detailed…I was just so impressed!
    Very fortunite to have “known” you (or have read your comments…)

    Siamang, I turned 39 just last week. I can tell you from my vast experience that it’s not so bad. I would tell you to not take it too seriously, but I have a feeling you already know that. I look forward to reading what you have to say.
