Pastor Tim Doesn’t Want Hemant to Teach ID

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

On Hemant’s site, Pastor Tim writes:

The most important point that you are missing here, Hemant, is that I am not suggesting that anyone teach ID or Creationism in the classroom. This paper is written to my child’s teacher - not to the scientific community. I wrote this so my children’s Junior and Senior High teachers would understand Creationism - not teach it. Because of the indoctrination of evolution in our colleges, I’m doubtful than any of them ever heard a decent argument for anything but naturalism.

You can read Pastor Tim’s whole response to Hemant here.

More About The Moody Church

Tuesday, June 20th, 2006

Hemant visited The Moody Church and reviewed it back in March. (That was the review in which he wrote “I don’t think I’ve ever felt more relieved to be an Atheist.”)

Since Hemant went to an evening prayer meeting, he didn’t have the opportunity to hear a message from the senior pastor. I’ve posted a link to a sound recording of a part of one on the Church Rater blog. I’m interested in any of your comments on it.

Ir, you have become a trusted guide to many of us who are trying to make sense out of life.

You are not only smart you are also kind- two attributes that rarely meet in the same person

Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this blog and all the Off The Map blogs over the past few months

You are generous
