Should Hemant Teach Intelligent Design?

In dialog #2 with Pastor Tim, Hemant commented on a paper written by Tim called Creationism For My Child’s Teacher . Pastor Tim evidently intends parents to give this paper to their child’s biology teacher. It begins with a letter to the teacher which makes this request:

I am asking you to teach (or continue to teach) evolution as just that – a “theory,” and keep your classroom open to other theories of the origin of the world.”

Why Do Academically Experienced People Believe in God Less?

In the third dialog with Pastor Tim, Hemant asked:

Using statistics from about five years ago,

  • Polls have shown 90% of people in the general public believe in God;
  • According to Scientific American, 40% of scientists with Bachelors degrees believe in God;
  • According to Nature magazine only 7% of people in the National Academy of Sciences such as Nobel Laureates, believe in God.

Why is it that as people get more and more experienced academically they stop believing in God?

Did Pastor Tim Really Say This (or even imply it)?

from previous comments of atheist relation of Parkview member who listened to Hemants interview with Pastor Tim…

“you won’t win many friends in a room of blue collar folks explaining that the more schooling someone has, the less prone to Christianity they are.

Could someone ask Tim to clarify- I can’t believe he would even get close to suggesting this
