It was great to hear Hemant and Jim again. I admire and respect both of them and was proud to feel a little part of carrying on the good that eminated from the whole Ebay Atheist experience.
I was particularly appreciative of Jim’s closing remarks indicating that none of us know any of these things for sure nor can we prove them for sure. He talked about the power of dialogue and what happens when we get a chance to know and like each other - all meaningful and powerful stuff.
I get the same delight in the dialogue between Helen and Rev. Lueking.
For me - this type of dialogue, respect and listening to one another is really where it is at.
I also appreciated the interviewer. I thought he was interested and respectful to both Hemant and Jim.
Glad you were able to listen in. The internet is pretty cool sometimes. I had fun with the interviewer as well. I think this is a secular (we have to find a new word for this) station that has has a God Talk show once a week which may explain why it felt a bit more real than the typical Christian station often does
Jim, I was impressed at their ‘mystery worshipper’ slot - where they have an outsider visit a church (as best I recall) and then talk to them about it.
