I should have posted this a few weeks ago…
I’m delighted to have Siamang now posting some of the blog entries on here. When I started reading this blog in February, one of the first things that caught my attention and impressed me a lot was the respectful interaction between Siamang and Jim in the comments section. Siamang is one of the people who has helped make friendly dialog between Christians and atheists a reality here.
When this blog opened the two people posting blog entries here were Jim, a self-professed follower of Jesus, and Hemant, a self-professed atheist. I’m pleased that with Mike O and Siamang now posting, we again have those two viewpoints represented. And not just represented, but represented by two people who see value in friendly dialog for the purpose of helping us understand each other better.
I already introduced Mike O, but I didn’t introduce Siamang. I guess it was because I was thinking most of you already know Siamang. But I still should have introduced him too - so, as I said, my apologies for not doing this earlier.

Sorry I didn’t have a post yesterday. I’ve been crunched a bit with work and (to be honest) my new Nintendo Wii. We all have our priorities, mine include the Legend of Zelda!

2No problem Siamang - I understand the ‘call of Nintendo’! ;-)
My son has a DS and when a new game comes out that he wants, he begs me to go get it for him the first day it’s available. (He has to pay for it with his own money, but he asks me to get it so he can try it as soon as he gets home from school.)
I’m sure he knows all about the Wii - he is an expert on all the latest ipod and Nintendo products…
Mike has something he’ll post tomorrow, so we’re all set.

3My son worked out some deal with his friends to do the “stand in line” thing and buy a couple PS3s to resell. Not sure how it turned out, but I think something went wrong with their scheme. Otherwise Mr. Moneybags would have been all over me gloating about his newfound wealth … none of which I would ever get a taste of, of course!

4Yeah, PS3 prices are dropping like stones. Seems 98% of the purchasers are speculators, and you know the free market is a bitch when you’re following the herd.
They’ll probably get a couple hundred dollars out of it, which is really lame if you bill it hourly.
