Thanks for posting that video, TXatheist! That was fun to watch. To be totally honest, sometimes when reading your comments, I’ve thought that you came across rather grouchy and intimidating. But now that I have seen and heard you talk in your relaxed, pleasant manner, I think I have a much more accurate picture of you. I think we could definitely sit around and have a beer and shoot the breeze. ;-)
Yes, this is definitely a mellower side of TX :) I enjoyed your review TX, getting to see you too! It looks like you’ve posted quite a few You Tube conversations; its a good medium for you, imo. thanks for posting! I don’t have my copy of Hemants book yet, but its on my list.
Helen, I remember you made a conscious decision to remove the youtube links from these postings because the video can be played from here, but a lot of times I want to pass videos along to friends and it seems cleaner to just send them to youtube rather than a blog. Could we get the links back?
TXAtheist - I’m going to pass this along to my wife, a pastor. She just bought Jim and Casper, and I’m picking up I Sold my Soul today for a little vacation reading. But I think she’ll like this.
Mike, I found out how to get the links - you double-click on the youtube video on here and it opens the youtube page for you. I stopped posting the links once I found out about the double-click that takes you to the youtube page. I explained that one time but maybe you didn’t see the video that particular week.
If you want to become an atheist, you must read the books of religions. Once you understand the Hebrew God and the other gods of the world you will understand religion is man coming to terms with himself. You must also understand the thinking of man at the time and why the God of Abraham & Moses was in the Real Estate business.

6TX, I enjoyed this. It was a neat idea to do your review as a video rather than in writing!
